It's been awhile...

Anyway, it has been a crazy week thus far. I spent two days in Grapevine at a conference for the Texas Alliance for Drug Endangered Children. It was fascinating...and I'm not being sarcastic. It really was. This is a much needed alliance of law enforcement, CPS, medical, and mental health professionals coming together to help kids who grow up in the presence of drugs or drug manufacturing so they don't become our next generation of criminals. It was heartbreaking, but it is a cause I'm glad to be apart of. In fact, it has only spurred me on to greater career aspirations. It's exciting stuff. But it is a long, long story.
